展会介绍：
2008年台湾国际机车产业展」共邀集187家厂商参展 （较上届成长13%），使用481个摊位，展出规模较上届成长 30%，多数参展厂商表示，今年参观总人数较去年明显增加 ，加上买主订单不断，许多参展厂商均纷纷表达明年继续参展的意愿。参展的鼎力公司即表示，今年接触到除了欧美日等多国买主，接洽到许多新兴国家的参观者，包括：中南美洲、中东、非洲的买主于展览期间即安排赴工厂参观 ，并表达下单意愿；台湾金蜂则表示，今年展场的规划在主办单位的用心之下比往年更好，洽谈气氛佳，明年将会继续参展；买主询问度超高的三阳公司则表示，在展览期间国内外参观者不断，尤其以中南美洲地区最多，该公司在展览期间也开发许多潜在客户 ；美商恩高(EMGO)从机车展接洽到日本、泰国、法国及加拿大，接下不少订单量，亦表达下届参展的乐观态度。零配件厂商统亚也表示，今年参展效果非常好，订单应接不暇,明年将会继续参展。另外，德国BMW往年均派员前来本展采购，今年则是由总代理泛德公司展示全新重型机车，相当看好台湾机车展未来发展。
Classic movies like The Wild Ones and Easy Rider underscore the toughness and flexibility of bike riders and their machines. That message is also delivered by Motorcycle Taiwan 2009 which has flexibly sidestepped the global downturn to come out ahead.
Just take the parts sector for example. Global downturn folks just don’t want to burn dollars on new vehicles. That’s pleasantly surprising for Taiwan which has seen gold mines of new orders flooding in for spare parts. The fact is that people still have to maintain their old motorcycles and cars and that’s why this year Parts & Equipment Exhibitors at the show have still turn out in record numbers.
Motorcycle Taiwan 2009’s show organizer, TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council) is still taking in new exhibitors and expects participants at their fourth show (the world’s only fully-integrated parts and bike show), to set an all-time records.
